We believe that Jesus Christ gave the Church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the equipping of the saints and the building up of the Body of Christ until we all reach unity and maturity. These ministry offices, including apostolic and prophetic ministries, continue to function in the Church today for its establishment, protection, and advancement. Apostolic ministry provides spiritual covering, church planting oversight, and governmental authority that establishes divine order and releases Kingdom power. All ministry must be exercised in submission to Scripture and accountable relationships (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 4:9; 2 Corinthians 12:12).
We affirm: The continuation of all five-fold ministry offices for church establishment and maturity.
We deny: That apostolic or prophetic ministry supersedes or contradicts Scripture.
