ARTICLE XIII: ETERNAL DESTINIES

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people—believers to eternal life and unbelievers to eternal condemnation. Heaven is the eternal state of blessing for all who have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior, where they will enjoy fellowship with God and freedom from sin, sorrow, and death. Hell is the eternal state of conscious punishment for all who have rejected God’s offer of salvation through Christ. The eternal destinies of all people are determined in this life by their response to the Gospel (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:3-4; Matthew 25:46).

We affirm: Eternal conscious blessing for believers and eternal conscious punishment for unbelievers.
We deny: Universalism, annihilationism, or second chances after death.
