We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became incarnate, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is truly God and truly man, possessing two distinct natures united in one Person without confusion, change, division, or separation. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended to heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father, serving as our High Priest and Advocate (John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 4:14-16).
We affirm: The full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ and His unique role as the only mediator between God and humanity.
We deny: Any teaching that diminishes either Christ’s deity or humanity.
